![In 2005, Digitalism impressed us all with “Zdarlight,” the follow-up to smash debut Idealistic,which became a Tour de Force for the German duo, now legends in their own right.
5 years later, Calgary’s own Piranha Piranha keep things very interesting with their lastest remix, a deliciously fleshed out and modernized relick of that classic Digitalism tune. Extremely rewarding on a good pair of headphones, the percussion line they introduced really brings the track into 2010:

I’ve been following members Dan and Sandro’s work for awhile now, and I must admit I never expected a Digitalism remix, but that’s part of what makes them so wholly captivating.
The artist of the future is genre-bending, creative, and willing to take risks, all qualities that make Calgary so proud to call Piranha Piranha their own. Their weekly night Modern Math (best understood as an audio/visual event) is literally transforming the local music scene as Piranha Piranha give FUTURE MUSIC its rightful place in Calgary’s nightlife.
